Real Tangible Support

Empowering Young Artists in Chatham County

Echo Music and Arts Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping under-served children in Chatham County, Georgia stay actively involved in music and arts programs. Founded in August 2024 by a single parent of young musicians, the foundation understands firsthand the real costs that come with artistic opportunities.

The Mission

Echo Music and Arts Foundation empowers children to pursue their artistic passions without financial strain by providing real, tangible, support.

Support That Really Matters

Our Programs in Action
We support young artists in practical, real-world and meaningful ways so they can fully participate in the arts:

  • Scholarships for program and band fees.
  • Sponsorships for required attire.
  • Support for instrument accessories costs.

Each effort is designed to remove obstacles that might otherwise keep a child from continuing their artistic journey. By meeting real needs with real support, we help students stay engaged, prepared, and confident in their creative pursuits.

Nurturing Talent Through Community Support

Who We Work With
We collaborate with educators, program directors, and youth arts and music programs who share our commitment to nurturing young talent. By working alongside those who teach, mentor, and lead creative spaces, we help ensure students receive the resources they need to thrive in the arts.

Unlocking Potential with Compassionate Aid

Additional Support
Beyond financial assistance, we recognize that young artists and their families often need encouragement in other ways too. When possible, we provide food, care packages, and parental support to help families feel seen, supported, and equipped. These small but meaningful gestures help create stability so students can stay focused on their creative growth.

Meet the Founder

Parent. Advocate. Visionary.

Ayanna Berry

Founder and CEO

Born and raised in Philadelphia, her love for the arts began early through theater, dance, and vocal and drama training. The stage became a place where creativity and confidence took root, shaping a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

A veteran and mother of two musicians raised in Savannah, Georgia, she later experienced the arts from a parent’s perspective. Supporting her children’s musical journeys revealed both the beauty of arts education and the financial challenges many families quietly face, from instruments and attire to program fees and travel.

What started as supporting her own children grew into a deeper mission. Seeing how easily talent can be limited by finances, she chose to act. Her work is grounded in lived experience and a simple belief: young artists deserve the chance to grow without financial barriers standing in the way.

At heart, she’s still a lover of the arts, now committed to helping the next generation stay on their path.
